VW Camper

The Camper is such a highly useful tool, that it is extremely highly sort after.

Since it was first built the Camper Van has been very popular. Nowadays the Early Split screen Vans (1950-1967) are fetching huge sums in excess of £35000 for the best of the best. Bay Windows (1968-1979) Models are now fetching from £5000-10000 for a good one. The T25 (Wedge van) 1980-1980 are also fetch the same sort of Money £5000-10000.

Whatever your budget if you buy a good van and keep it in nice condition the value will inevitably increase, and also you get good value camping and travelling around aswell as a great tool.

If you are buying or thinking of buying a vw camper van, think about what you are buying it for. If you want to use it very regulary for camping i would suggest a Later T25 Model, these are extremely useful and reliable, but i would personally avoid the aircooled version.

If you want a good investment and a very useable van i'd recommend the T2 Bay window 1968-1979 model. BUT....... Buy a good one. Spend the money on a GOOD van not a resto project or in need of attention unless you know what your doing, these will inevitably turn out very costly.

If your budget allows a VW Splitscreen Camper if the creme de la creme of Volkwagen Camper Vans. Not the most Luxurious of vans but being 40+ years old you wouldnt expect it. A status symbol nowadays with Many celebrities buying these, If youve got the money buy one now..
